Karla A. Ebenbach, AICP, LEED Green Associate
President
Ms. Ebenbach is a skillful and experienced Urban Planner,
dedicated to supporting communities and clients seeking pathways to a resilient future.
She brings leadership to policy development in support of community resilience, promotes collaborative problem-solving, and offers expertise on an array of urban planning topics. She has maintained AICP certification for over 20 years and holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She is a certified LEED Green Associate.
Ebenbach Consulting LLC is based in Coral Gables, Florida.

Elevating the Field
"I aim to advance climate adaptation and mitigation planning. I serve as an elected leader of the 4,200-member Sustainable Communities Division of the American Planning Association, where I was also a contributing author to the 2021 Climate Change Policy Guide and spearheaded an APA National Sustainability & Resilience Series to educate all professional planners. Further, I chaired the recent AICP Task Force that drafted criteria for the new mandatory AICP CM credit in sustainability and resilience . I am also a supporting member of the American Society of Adaptation Professionals, as well as certified as a LEED Green Associate, bringing the latest in green building and land development practices to planning work."
